I prefer PDFs—as in, if I have a digital copy of a book that’s not PDF, I won’t put it up—and these are the titles I would most like to get ahold of.  This thread will expand as time goes on, I’m mostly putting it up as a reminder to myself right now.

The Stargate Conspiracy

Acid: The New Secret History of LSD (2003 edition)

TechGnosis, Erik Davis

Revelations, Jacques Vallee

Green Gold - The Tree Of Life: Marijuana In Magic & Religion

Acid Dreams

ALSO—has anyone found a really excellent tutorial on PDF’ing books?  I’d like to provide that with the Library to help people get on board and contribute.

I don’t know if this is also open to user requests, but I really got a lot out of that 8 Lectures on Yoga, any other non-overly esoteric texts on Yoga would be appreciated also. I may start up again, or maybe even go so far as to get up off of my lazy ass and attend some classes too, so these would definitely help.

Also, what is SubGenius?

Speaking of Yoga, you practice right? Do you go to classes, or have you done it on your own?

No problem, man.

Maybe you could help me out with something. I saw you mentioned William Irwin Thompson over on Hump Jones, and I clicked the link to this page:
http://levity.com/mavericks/tho-int.htm

...which says “He spends his time contemplating such nuances of thought as… the relationship of oral sex to the development of consciousness”

I am extremely keen to find out where he has written about this. I’ve never read anything by him, but that sounds like what has been going on in my head for years now.

Man, I fuckin’ love William Irwin Thompson.  (He’s really the biggest reason I can’t get into Ken Wilbur.)

That interview is great, I love his line about elitism:

Rebecca: Are you accused of being elitist?

Bill: Oh, all the time. And I don’t mind because I think that you have to be elitist. If you were going to study the guitar would you pick the worst guitar teacher? I think that elitism is precisely what America needs if we’re going to have fine wines, good cooking and good philosophy.

But remember, I’m working-class. I did this all on my own. My parents didn’t have an education beyond the 8th grade. At the economic level I’m anything but elitist, but at the levels of commitment to excellence I’m totally elitist and anything else I find reprehensible.

I’ve got a bunch of books in a torrent, for all you BT warriors. Most of the books can be found in the Library already though. Except Korzybski’s Science and Sanity. Good book on General Semantics, if your up for a long read.

An english version of Timothy Leary’s Neurologick would be appreciated. The copy on the BIPT library is in what I think is German.

Next Million Years by Charles Galton Darwin. Good look at what the Eugenicists want.
