Here’s one to add to the list
Publish and Prosper - Blogging for your business.
I got it off a torrent, but here’s a link to it on amazon

It was written by the guy that developed the Boeing blogs. I’ve only skimmed a little of it, but it seems full of nice little quotes. Besides what better vantage point to have than that of Big Business just to show you how they plan on caging us in our new territory.
Why Should You Blog?
A quick analogy may be useful. Say that you own a storefront coffee shop on a side street that gets modest traffic. Your landlord offers you a larger store in a corner spot on Main Street for less money and he’ll throw in a new top-of-the-line espresso machine for free. You’d be crazy not to take the offer.
For most businesses, the choice to embrace blogging is a lot like this coffee shop scenario: more visibility, traffic, and the equivalent of an expensive CMS, all for very little money.
For almost zero financial investment in hardware or software, you can create a blog site that broadcasts your content to a potential audience of millions of people who use newsreader software. In addition, the naturally “Google-friendly” architecture of blogs guarantees that search engines will pay more attention to what you publish.
An additional benefit is that your customers and potential customers can contribute additional valuable content to your site via their comments. They provide an entrée into a global ecosystem of bloggers and cross-linked blog conversations, which allows you to build buzz and reach out to hundreds of thousands of readers.
I still don’t see how that analogy applies to anything relative, but oh well.
