Sadly, I haven’t noticed anything less wrong. Having a smooth but empty maker of speeches replacing a fumbling and arrogant Decider isn’t a very satisfying Change, and policy-wise there’s been hardly any continuity break. I was optimistic, but I’m grateful that Obama didn’t waste time leading us on—he just got right to work selling people out.
