I’ll echo my reply from the main Brainsturbator article here.

Well the reason to salute this man, IMO, is that he serves a purpose.  His methods accelerate the bonding of consumerism to the reptilian biological imperatives.  While this in itself is not a very beneficial thing for mankind, the purpose it does serve is to throw that bond into sharp relief when an individual gets their wake-up call.  The more people buy in to shysters like this, the more drastic the shock is when the curtain is drawn back, and the truth is revealed to them.  When someone asks them why they drive that Hummer in Manhattan and they realize they’ve been letting themselves get played.  He’s P.T. Barnum without the punchline.

I’ll echo my thanks.

I don’t want to debunk. I don’t want to be another primate puffing his chest out and pointing his finger.  I’m trying to take the same approach with 9/11 and 2012, two subjects I’ve been avoiding because I don’t have anything nice to say, basically.  But with Rapaille, I feel like the real meat is not even Rapaille himself, but all of the memes and concepts and history that gets brought up in order to evaluate him.

I would like to create essays and articles that people can enjoy and learn from even if—especially if—they disagree with my conclusions.  I think I was doing well with that in the Crop Circle series, but I definitely slip up a lot.

As a side note, I’ve had tremendous success making people uncomfortable by give a slight but distinct pause before I say...Hummer.  When I compliment someones...Hummer like that, for some reason it opens up the other meaning of Hummer, which is of course, a blow job.  I’ve found that just chatting about someones...Hummer is way more effective than lecturing them about the Hummer.

Oh my gosh.
That David Icke comment at the end made my day!

Awesome article as always, this one was a lot more obviously positive than others you’ve written. It’s good to hear a criticizing of the EVIL ONES while not succumbing to absolute paranoia and despair. Articles like these help us remember that the EVIL ONES are humans just like us, and are just as real and just as fallible as we are.

Thank you.

And I must say, I do intend to try and make use of that ...Hummer comment. Definitely seems that it would be more effective than trying to appeal to their self-defensive intellect. If they’re going to pander to the reptilian brain, why should we not as well?

I’m working on a peice meditating around what happened on wall street during the 80s.  It reminds me of when I starting writing an article on Maurice Strong.  That, in fact, was originally a “we salute you” but as I learned more and more, the guy started to bug me out.  Was that just because he triggered bad associations, or chafed my ego and opinions, or was he legitimately a monster?  Arf.

I’d still very much like to meet Dr. Rapaille, I’d be curious to see if he could offer anything cogent cuz I’d love to bring all this shit up—immediately.  Given how he responded to Rushkoff, I don’t have high hopes, but maybe he’ll have more balls, or at least teeth, without a camera going.

Between this guy and Frank Luntz, it seems the dark side has language manipulation down pat. “Who controls language, controls reality,” to paraphrase 1984. Terrence McKenna might have agreed with that sentiment… sure spills over into quantum theory and majick.
I used to do a couple of shows on an unlicensed radio station ( the FCC and some nice federal marshalls “asked” us to stop ). I did a show with audio bites from “The Persuaders” and a lot of other stuff and music. That episode was entitled “Civil lies.” If anyone has 80 mins to spare, they can listen to the podcast at: http://www.a-train.podomatic.com/ Scroll down to “Civil Lies”

^^That’s supercool.  Do you feel like dispensing any advice on making podcasts?  Or just a link to a tutorial you found useful....we’re looking to “accessorize” a couple projects with the podcasts but as of now, I know very little about ‘em.

I’m such a computer-moron, I don’t know if my advice is very helpful. Podomatic.com has some software that is supposed to aid in posting a podcast, but all I did was condense the show over to mp3 in just one track and save in my media player. Podomatic will upload your show from your media player. They also will let you upload images.
If anyone does listen to any of my shows, I’d welcome some feedback…

Thanks,
A

Oh, sweet.  Sounds like I already know how to make podcasts then...I thought it was a special format or something, but I can just do that up with Adobe Audition.  I will be checking out your shows, we always like new material for Test Drive sessions and this stuff sounds like it’s a good fit for drug experiments.

“...encode in a multiple of 11.025 kHz. We recommend 22.050 mono for voice and 44.1 for music.”

I don’t know how to do that yet. Like I said… derrr!

I was inspired to make these mixes for mycoidial excursions to the woods with my friends. Some dug it; some did not. I figured a lot of energy had been spent programming me, so I’d put some into re-programming myself… and anyone else that wanted to go for the ride. Enjoy.

I listen to my own music all the time.  Not the rap—the music stuff.  I think it’s definitely a programming thing, having put the time into creating all the intricacies of it, and then doing other creative work with that as the soundtrack, I think has a culumulative/magickal effect.  It’s an internal feedback loop, and hey....it works pretty well for me.

It feels like the very act of creating art is magical/divine. Sometimes when I am able to string some audio and music together in a sequence that really expresses what’s on my mind, it doesn’t feel like I invented that combination… it feels more like I found it. It’s like it already existed in some perfect state “somewhere” and I was able to translate it through my brain.

There have been some fairly heady reports of synchronicities that have occurred in concert with my “shows"… and that is certainly my intent.

How can I download your podcasts?  Itunes is stalling and there are no direct links from any of your posts on podomatic.  I’m a curious primate scratching my head and patting my belly in confusion, anticipation.

Sorry about that, I’m a stupid primate… I just learned I messed up the works. I was able to listen to some of the shows by going up to the tags on top of the page on a-train.podomatic.com and clicking on A-Train. Thanks for the nudge, I have to upload my shows again so the play button will re-appear.

Sorry for the tease,
A-Train

Maybe this’ll work…
Go here… and try that player. I’ll get to work on those files in a day or three.
