Since 1988, Douglas Walla and the Kent Gallery have been documenting the work of the Boston Visionary Artist, Paul Laffoley. The first monograph entitled The Phenomenology of Revelation published in 1989 was a highly successful project with edited texts by the artist. Since that time, moving forward and backward in time, Douglas Walla has been building an archive for study purposes, including a series of thought-forms linguistically linking and illuminating Laffoley’s subjects. Operating Systems to Lucid Dreaming to Time Travel, Laffoley draws upon his original interest in the classics, to his later architectural training in the organization of his paintings. It is our expectation that the publication will be divided into four sections:
Early Works
Works prior to 1990
The Time of the Bauharoque: 2000-2099 and
The Journal

The gallery is presently producing two posters to generate proceeds that are dedicated to thecompletion of the project.
